Our Gender Affirming Programs

Horizons’ gender-affirming, leadership and empowerment programs offer a welcoming and confidential space for young men and women to foster community and strengthen their brother and sisterhood among their peers.

The Femmes Against Violence (FAV) Program educates and trains young women in topics such as healthy/unhealthy relationships, teen dating, domestic violence, sexual assault, and youth organizing.

Developed in the image of the FAV program, the Jovenes Education and Empowerment Program (JEEP) focuses on exposing young men to activities that build cultural awareness and promote healing through a violence prevention and intervention lens.
