All counselors are bicultural and are currently required by state law to be enrolled in a drug & alcohol counseling certification program. Services may include individual, group, or family counseling, in addition to case management. Outpatient services may be accessed on-site, as well as within various middle and high schools throughout the San Francisco Unified School District. Currently, Horizons has Outpatient counselors stationed at Mission High School, James Lick Middle School, and Galileo High School. All services are free of charge, and we serve young people between the ages of 12-26. Bilingual (Spanish) counselors are available.
Counseling services can also be accessed through participation in the Mission Urban Arts after-school program.
